Jeffrey Fellner DDS
Dr Jeffrey Fellner grew up in Southern California. He received his undergraduate education at UCLA and the University of San Diego. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Biology (and doing alot of surfing), he sought his dental training at Creighton University’s Boyne School of Dental Science. He received his DDS in 1993 and moved to Arizona.
After practicing as an associate at several dental offices in Scottsdale, he joined Dr. Shelley in November 1998 to help form Arrowhead Lakes Dentistry in Glendale.

Dr. Fellner has two beautiful girls: Eva and Marit. Therefore, he no longer has much time for his hobbies of surfing, skiing, and travel.
Dustin Putnam DMD
Dr. Dustin Putnam was born and raised in Winnemucca, Nevada ( a very small town in Northern Nevada). He graduated from the University of Nevada at Reno in 2002 with a Bachelor’s in Health Ecology. His dental education came from the high tech, University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. He received his DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) in 2007, and moved to Phoenix to practice dentistry.
Dr. Putnam maintains active memberships with the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, Central Arizona Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry
Dr. Putnam attends numerous hours of continuing education every year, and is currently working on his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Putnam loves practicing dentistry with the newest, high tech devices. He is trained in CEREC technology and is certified to use lasers during dental procedures.
He enjoys spending his leisure time with his lovely wife, Erin, and their three Chihuahuas. Whenever possible, Dr. Putnam likes to hike the mountains of Arizona, and camp along the Mogollon Rim.
Ronald Shelley DMD MAGD
Dr. Ronald Shelley was born and raised in Southern Califorina. He graduated with honors from Brigham Young University in 1976. His dental education came from Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. He received his DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine), with honors, in 1979. His education continued in a General Practice Residency while serving in the United States Army.
After three years active military service, Dr. Shelley started private practice in Frederick, Maryland. In 1994, he relocated to Glendale, Arizona and opened the present office March 1998. In 2011, Dr. Shelley started sharing his time here at Arrowhead Lakes Dentistry with teaching the next generation of dentists at Midwestern University School of Dental Medicine as adjunct faculty.
Dr. Shelley is acknowledged by a leading dental authority that he "represents the best of our profession, a dentist who cares about his patients and continually learns new techniques to help them with their dental problems."*
Academic awards received by Dr. Shelley include:
- Election to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honors Society in 1979
- Fellowship (FAGD) in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1986
- Mastership (MAGD) in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1994.

Dr. Shelley has been a leader in introducing new technology into dentistry which provides higher quality dental restorations and service at less cost and greater patient comfort. He was the seventeenth dentist in the United States to utilize the CEREC technology and the first dentist in Arizona to offer the Biolase Laser.
Dr. Shelley and his wife, Darlene, have nine children, and sixteen grandchildren. Darlene approves of his hobbies of flying airplanes and helicopters, photography, and computers.
